24 immigrants have died in ICE custody during the Trump administration

"What we're seeing is a reckless and unprecedented expansion of a system that is punitive, harmful and costly," said Katharina Obser, senior policy adviser at the Women's Refugee Commission, an advocacy group. "The U.S. government is not even doing the bare minimum to ensure [immigrants] are getting the medical care and the mental health care they need."

1,556 more migrant families were separated under Trump than previously known

The government told a federal court on Thursday that more than 1,500 migrant families were forcibly separated by U.S. authorities before the Trump administration's "zero tolerance" policy was fully implemented, meaning a total of at least 4,300 families were separated before a judge ordered officials to halt the controversial practice.

Trump asked about shooting migrants crossing border in the legs: Sources

According to two sources familiar with the matter, Trump in private meetings raised the prospect of shooting migrant families seeking asylum at the border as early as November 2018. He also floated a similar idea publicly at one point, suggesting that rocks thrown by migrants will be considered a firearm and potentially warrant lethal force.
the president also talked to aides about building an electrified border wall, as well as a “water-filled trench, stocked with snakes or alligators, prompting aides to seek a cost estimate.”

China signs defence agreement with South Korea as US angers Seoul with demand for $5bn troop payment

Our foreign policy under Trump it an absolute, unmitigated nightmare. He continues to ruin relationships with allies to the benefit of Russia, China, and North Korea. Unbelievable.

Trump Said U.S. Is 'Getting Raped' by NATO, Has Pushed to Exit Alliance According to White House Insider

    This is absolute lunacy.

Breaking up NATO has been Russia/USSR's #1 geopolitical goal for 70 years. NATO is the most successful political alliance in the history of the world.

There is absolutely no way to deny that Trump is 100% owned by Russia and absolutely doing their bidding. There are way too many examples.

    Insane. Totally INSANE.

It's so depressing, and discouraging and really truly horrifying to have to sit there and see all this happen, when everyone KNOWS its wrong but because of political reasons, they don't do the right thing and stop this shit. I truly hope America can recover from this.

Trump being a pile of evil human garbage doesn't shock me.

What shocks me is the entire Republican party stepping aside or helping him do every evil, horrible thing.

US veterans say Trump views military ‘as tool for massacres’ after reinstating accused war criminal to Navy

US veterans decried Donald Trump’s orders to restore an accused war criminal's rank in the Navy, saying the decision “sets a dangerous precedent” and suggests the commander-in-chief views the military “as a tool for massacres”.

Numerous veterans spoke out about the move to The Independent after Secretary of Defence Mark Esper confirmed he was ordered by the president to retain Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher’s status in the elite service, as well as his Trident pin, a prestigious special warfare insignia.

“Ever since Donald Trump became president he’s been tearing the military apart, putting troops in the difficult position of needing to choose between obedience to his unhinged orders, and staying true to our code of honour,” said Alexander McCoy, a former Marine and political director of the veteran group Common Defence. “By pardoning war criminals because Fox News told him to, Trump showed he sees our military as a tool for massacres, not as the professional, honourable force we aspire to be.”

There is no question that cocaine Mitch is going to acquit Trump, none, but the great danger is Trump winning in 2020. In addition to the obvious tragedy of having the most corrupt, most incompetent and the most dangerous modern president serving two terms, there is also the none obvious danger of extreme erosion of checks and balances.

A Trump win will make Democrats to conclude that impeaching the US president will help them get reelected. As a result, there wont be checks and balances in a system that is already exploding with massive conflicts of interests and corruption. We already have this: Supreme Court will hear three cases over Trump’s financial records and obviously Trump expects the judges he appointed serve his interests and if they don't, he will make sure the future appointees will.

Trump Pays $2 Million to 8 Charities for Misuse of Foundation

In any other time, this alone would be grounds for resignation or impeachment.

President Trump has paid $2 million to eight charities as part of a settlement in which the president admitted he misused funds raised by the Donald J. Trump Foundation to promote his presidential bid and pay off business debts, the New York State attorney general said on Tuesday.
the president admitted in court documents that he had used the foundation to settle legal obligations of his businesses and even to purchase a portrait of himself.
Mr. Trump, who at first dismissed the suit as a political attack, made 19 detailed admissions, acknowledging, for example:
    • He admitted the foundation had purchased the $10,000 portrait of himself that was ultimately displayed at one of his Florida hotels.
    • He admitted to using the foundation’s money to settle obligations of some of his for-profit companies, including a golf club in Westchester County, N.Y., and Mar-a-Lago,
    • He admitted that the foundation had given his presidential campaign control over about $2.8 million that the foundation had raised at a veterans fund-raiser in Iowa in January 2016.

It really makes me sad that something this horrible is just a drop in the bucket for the absolute scum we have in office as POTUS.
