Threshold RPG has a wiki!
What is a wiki?
A wiki is a community-edited website that acts as an information source for existing, new, and prospective players. That's right, community-edited. This means that you are free to contribute to the wiki, in fact you are invited to participate in the wiki. We only ask that you create a wiki account with the name of one of your characters so we know who's making edits.
What else do you ask?
OK, you got me, obviously there are going to be some guidelines, but they're not horrifically strict. Basically, use your better judgment when editing the wiki, like if it's intended to be secret in the game, you probably shouldn't put it on the wiki. This does still leave, however, a mountain of information that can be brought into the wiki!
On the previous wiki we were allowed character pages. Can we have character pages here?
You sure can. I've created a basic one for Karahd that you can look at to see how I made it, here: https://threshold.gamepedia.com/Karahd
On the previous wiki we were allowed clan pages. Can we have clan pages here?
Of course! If you're a member of a clan and you want your page up, go right ahead! You can see the clan page for Karahd's clan here to see how it's setup https://threshold.gamepedia.com/The_...nsortium_(3FC)
What's the address of the wiki!!!
You can reach the wiki website, here: https://threshold.gamepedia.com/ or http://wiki.thresholdrpg.com/
Top Tips
- Read the guide: https://threshold.gamepedia.com/Guide:Wiki
- Use the search bar liberally to find existing information or to figure out if a new entry needs to be made.
- Join the wiki channel in game to ask questions or to help out your fellow editors.
- Use the Contribute Now! and the Needs Work! links on the left menu if you're stuck for something to work on.
- Have fun and if you are in doubt, you can always ask on wiki or email me at bworkman@frogdice.com.
Final Thoughts
Don't be shy. I get a notification for every change on the wiki. Go ahead and make changes or add new information/pages. I will go in later and look to see what's been done and I will probably make some edits. If you're interested you can click the blue star at the top of the page and you'll get notified of any changes to that page, too. This means if (and most likely) I make edits to it, you can see what I've done. Or you can go to Recent Changes on the left to see pages that have had updates to them and see the differences. Ask on the wiki channel or send me an email!
