I'm not gonna assume that you're suggesting members of the African communities are anymore immoral than other racial groups?
Last, your response to many of the points presented illustrates a portrait that you're a low information citizens that doesn't understand historical truths. Furthermore, one of the points that constantly escapes similar folks is that racism is INSTITUTIONALIZED.
Meaning? It's coded into laws, and other features of society.
How so? Example Brown versus Board of Education passes. The majorities counter move was private schools.
Why? Because blacks and other minorities couldn't afford to send their kids to private schools.
Why? Because of the economical situations blacks and other minorities were in coming off Jim Crow etc...
But that was in the late 50s and 60's, non existent right? No. When white flight began in American cities during the 1960's-1970's. African Americans who wanted to venture out into the newly minted suburbs could not follow.
Why? Because a racist practice by banks and mortgage institutions known Red Lining.
So, what that was in the 70's, its a long time ago. Racism doesn't exist anymore? Sure it does, in the 1980's ushered in the Reagan Era, "It's Morning in America Again", the War on Drugs, Freeway Rick Ross, and crack bomb that hit urban neighborhoods.
So that was 25 years ago? Yeah, well that's when we see more drug arrest, and use see a huge influx of incarceration rates well into the 1990's, otherwise known tough on crime. Which brings us to the 2000's, where the New Jim Crow Era is happening.
What, I don't believe that? Yeah, when getting busted for simple possession of pot, people of color get way tougher sentences than their white counter parts, even though the usage in all racial communities is relatively the same around 12-13%.
All of that is one single broad narrative, of many that have created obstacles for pulling yourself up by your bootstraps, and in some cases locking people into a caste. This doesn't excuse anyone of personal accountability, but when the game is rigged against you. It's tough to consistently make the best decisions. Can you really fault a person 100% of the time for making mistakes in life?
Anyhow Sier, you can continue to ignore my responses to your post. I don't mind. I just wish that you would at least do a bit of unbiased research on some of the topics that i've mentioned.
