The whole thing is a bit strange if you ask me. What I want to know is the "whys" of it. Why did she feel the need to pretend she was black? Why did she feel the need to lie about her race?

Plus other questions... Did she really think that nobody would find out her parents were white, especially in this age of social media? Was this some deep seated jealousy of her adopted, black siblings? Does she have some serious psychological issues or is she just a liar? Though she clearly is a pathological liar if she has been living this way for years.

These questions aren't meant to judge her, I just want to know, dammit! I find it all very fascinating.

I am all for people living their lives how they want to, but one must face consequences when living a lie.
