I don't think your analogy is in place. The argument isn't really about the facts (not from my perspective anyway).

Facts:
Males have penises. Females have vaginas. People in different continents have different skin colors, eye colors and shapes, and hair colors and shapes.

I don't think anyone is going to argue these facts.

However, the social structures that we build on these fact are simply social structures. Being part of the black, Jewish, WASP or any other social circle does not necessarily depend on your genetics or upbringing, but usually on your desire to be there and the acceptance of the group members.

You cannot convert yourself into becoming black or blue eyed, but you can become part of these social circles if you accept and adopt their looks and behaviors. And yes, in many social structures, hiding your heritage can help you out if you really want to belong. She really wanted to belong.

I do not care for her lies because it's up to the social structure that accepted her to judge her, and not our role to judge her. From what I read, the organization she is a part of already said they are cool with it.
