Well then perhaps it isn't a settled question.
I am glad that as a society most people now seem to want to let people live in a way that makes them happy as long as it doesn't harm others. That is a huge stride forward.
But it crosses a line when people start to think facts are malleable or when they think they can compel others to share their factually erroneous definition of things.
To make an analogy:
I have no problem with the Flat Earth Society existing, but if they start demanding their "flat Earth" theory be taught in schools, now we have a problem.
