Does this also apply if the individual has positioned themselves in a location other than the operator's seat? Such as a passenger seat or a bed (as would be the case of say a converted van or RV)?

I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but I just want clarification as to how utterly disgusted I have to continue to be.
If violence is not your last resort, you have failed to resort to enough of it.

Capitalization is the difference between "I had to help my Uncle Jack off a horse." and "I had to help my uncle jack off a horse."

There is never a good time for lazy writing!

Moral of the story I guess would be if you own an R.V. don't go camping in cold climates if you enjoy boozing it up!

I know all the campsites around here with R.V. hookups have electricity outlets they can plug into so people don't have to run their generators. You'd think that'd be safe, since the vehicle isn't running.

If the engine to the RV is running, the prosecutors/cops will certainly argue yes. I'll be arguing for jury nullification.

They will certainly try if they feel like it.

    Three points:

    1. I don't have an opinion regarding DUI checkpoints. I've never experienced one, but it seems like a relatively ineffective method of stopping DUIs.

    2. If you get caught driving under the influence, then you're a fucking moron and deserve everything that comes your way. I am physically incapable of drinking, and know that you cannot be in control of a running vehicle, concious or not. Yes, being the sole occupant (or all occupants being drunk) is being in control of the vehicle.

    3. If anyone has a link to an arrest record of someone in a parked RV getting a ticket/arrested for DUI, I'd appreciate the link. I get the feeling that it's one of the fables of "OhmyGAWD, this could totally be a thing" that turned into "Look at how evil this law is!"
“There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man.”
