Just to clarify, when you say that there is a 1 day window to seek retribution "against attackers", do you mean attackers, literally? i.e. you can go after only the people who were present and participating in the attack? Or does it mean that if the Vishnavs attack Set's Exemplar, it's open season on any Vishnav regardless of participation, as they were the attacking force?

I'm assuming it's the first example. If that's correct, what about instances of mistaken identity or lying? Perhaps my church attacks an Exemplar, but I don't participate in any way. Someone from the attacked church logs on just after the attack occurs and is told "Vishnavs just attacked us, go get em!" Does that person have to verify who was present during the attack and who wasn't? If he goes out and just kills any Vishnav based on that information, is that a legit PK? What if my name is specifically mentioned as an attacker (mistakenly or purposely), and I'm then killed, but I actually wasn't involved?

This answer just confused me.

I am assuming it means that you can only get revenge on the actual attackers.

I believe you can try to take revenge on just the people who assaulted your exemplar for 2 RL hours, though you can organize a counterattack on an enemy exemplar whenever you want with no lines and no waiting.
