    Apple: ‘Want to criticize religion? Write a book’ - don’t make a game

    I like Apple products but despise the way they do business.

    And the way they run the iTunes store is just absolutely despicable. This is the latest example.

    There's huge criticism about the rights you convey to Apple when using their book authoring software.

    No doubt. They really are completely bonkers with how control-freaky they are about everything.

    Not just when you want to make things for their products, but even how you want to USE their products.

    Now taking bets as to how long it takes for all these Apple policies to backfire and everyone decide that the itunes store is a bad place to sell anything.

    Fanboi-ism not required. Greed is enough of a motivator. If you need an audience for your wares, iTunes/App Store provide insane opportunities and broad reach for your product.
