I've only been able to do a fraction of the traveling and living abroad that this guy has, but most of what I've seen is definitely consistent with his own observations. In a way, he's being just as bad as every other entitled, complacent American by running away and living in other countries instead of working to fix things at home. At the same time, perhaps by writing this article he is doing his part to help through spreading awareness.
