One has the choice to NOT take the pills, just as one has the choice not to pick up the gun and shoot somebody in the face.

Arguing religion in this issue is just sensationalist ignorance intent on persuading a large group to despise the issue for the wrong reason to despise it.

The real reason is, when employers are forced to shell out yet more money to employees, you'll see an even worse economy because the price of goods/services will increase, large companies, yet again, moving overseas and fewer jobs to be had.

Money. Religious individuals aren't being forced to take the pills, but employers ARE being told, yet again, where they HAVE to spend their money.
However, forcing a budhist (or some other pacifist... I'm not a religious scholar I'm just trying to make a point) to supply private citizens with firearms would be a religion issue. You cannot force private citizens to supply something for other citizens. It's fundamentally wrong. What it is, in reality is the government trying to keep the healthcare reform off the books, and still achieve their goal. If, instead of forcing all companies to supply healthcare, they raised taxes to fund true government healthcare, it would be less deplorable. It would also be political suicide. The Government healthcare idea would crumble in America and Obama could kiss his second term goodbye.
