What's with the passive aggression? People die from knife crime, in fact, the majority of murders where I'm from are usually from knives. It's not reductio ad absurdum, or some kind of straw man. If it can stop one person from a horrible and violent death/maiming or, in my country's case, thousands, isn't it worth it too?
