I actually bought a Groupon for a BidMyCrib to come paint two rooms in my house. It was horrendous!!! I had the rooms all cleared out and prepped and they called me at 10:30 the night before to cancel or change the appointment for a month from our appointment. The rooms belonged to my little girls, so I couldn't have them empty for a month! I ended up painting the rooms myself. I think BidMyCrib got in way over their heads.

Groupon was great about refunding my money though. I was satisfied with that aspect of it. I have heard before that some companies, ie painters, masseuse services, etc. have bitten off more than they could chew. They get so overwhelmed by the sheer numbers that are buying the groupons that they can't provide quality services.

I did just buy a groupon for a online photobook, so I will have to see how that goes. I might be a glutton for punishment. Though I think it will be more successful.
