Interesting that the topic of "babysitters" comes up in regards to teaching. I was watching CNN the other day and they were discussing 4-day school weeks (to save districts money). The majority of parents who called in did not express any educational concerns but instead only worried about who would care for their children during that extra day.

As for teachers, I would be a lot happier if my money went to THEM and not their union leaders or school administrators/superintendents. Bless you, teachers.
