Lambert dismantling Monckton
Lambert vs Monckton debate
Lambert exposes Monckton's most serious bogus claims. He is a scientist (a computer scientist) so he is not as eloquent as Monckton but that should not matter, right? The lord seems very confused at the end and doesn't get Lambert last point. The lord is obviously not very intelligent.
I must add that the "snowball earth" phenomenon is one of the oldest tricks used by people like Monckton. Their strategy is essentially to give cherry-picked minimal information to support their claim that maybe CO2 is not a green-house gas: roughly 700 million years ago earth was in a huge iceage while the CO2 concentration was 350 times of today. What they will not tell you is the rest of the story: if it was not for the massive green house effect of the CO2, earth would still be frozen to this day as a total covering of ice and the lack of clouds would reflect almost all the solar energy back to space.
