    Oh, and - that was kinda my point. If your web host doesn't give you serverside scripting support, you can just switch to clientside, unless you need a database or something. Obviously that still needs support.

    A lot of players seem to be using FreeWebs, and there are some seriously pretty sites.

    Just FYI, I've updated a ton of player links on the website, so please, check them out! In addition, mail me or post so that I know to add yours or update your site.

    Since everyone has said a lot about freewebs, I decided to give it a quick try.

    The one thing I find the most irritating is that there is no obvious html editor. Isn't there a way you can make and edit the sites in an html editor and not their webpage creator? Anything other then plain old html is a headache.

    I can't believe they are shutting down Geoshitties.

    Surely with google ad words or something it could be monetized effectively.

    How much traffic is the whole of geocities generating? It has to be quite a bit.
