I've thought about this a lot, too. Though I have RL friends I am close with, my closest friends are people I've met through Threshold. My sister, thankfully, has Facebook/Myspace friended several of them, so I'm sure she would pass along any pertinent or tragic information.
One time I started thinking about this sort of thing. I started out with a serious document about "if I should die, please do blah and blah, pass on these files to Threshers somewhere, notify people, etc"... unfortunately it ended up being a jocular blog post. Probably would be worth doing the serious document some time.
