Conspiracy theory or truth?

It gets increasingly more interesting/amusing/shocking/ridiculous depending on which of the above you believe. It's a long video, but I'd recommend watching at least the first 30 minutes (If you can make it past the initial comparison of America to Burger King by some rapper, you'll be set).

BTW, I've no clue as to the journalistic integrity/bias of the group who made this video. I just thought it was an interesting enough conspiracy theory to post.

There is a pretty killer quote from Alan Greenspan at 60:43.

Considering how these types of threads typically turn out on any internet forum, I'm hesitant to even comment.

But, just looking at some of the comments in the blurb beside the video and the related websites:

"hoax carefully crafted by the captains of the New World Order"

"critical juncture in the New World Orders plans"

"slaves on a Global Plantation"

"Obama is continuing the process of transforming America into something that resembles Nazi Germany"

and requests to support radio talk host Alex Jones, whose website sells videos supporting the normal variety of lunatic conspiracy theories about Freemasons pretty much seals any question about the journalistic integrity and bias of this video.

Even if they do have legitimate concerns about government control, they're overshadowed by their conspiracy theorist presentation.
