That is not whast unsustainable means. Unsustainable means cannot be sustained. My food bill might be a few dollars more expensive next week than it was this week. That does not mean that my diet is unsustainable, all it means is that resources need some level of reallocation. It only becomes unsustainable once that reallocation becomes impossible. If healthcare in Canada becomes more expensive, tax money will be reallocated to cover those expenses. This will likely not even result in a tax increase, but simply the defunding of a lower priority budgetary item.
[edit] Healthcare costs are rising in the United States as well. Are you willing to claim that private healthcare in the United States is also unsustainable at its present course?
