One of the problems I have with what the winning team did was they ran a full court press on the other team for almost the entire game.

Once they were up 30-0 and it was clear they had no chance of losing the game they should have stopped.

Unlike pro sports where a general manager has the ability to go out and draft players, sign free agents and build a team as he/she desires, a high school coach only has the players that show up.

College is the same way. If you want to play big time college sports and you do a shitty recruiting job and you get crushed shame on you. Either recruit better or drop to a different division where the competition isn't so crazy.

I don't think anyone should be fired for it. Once decision of poor sportsmanship should not cost you your job. Sometimes people learn more because of mistakes.

If the coach hit a student or gave them drugs or something then yes, fire away.
