I just treat it like any other day these days, I have more interest in Rememberance Day as it has more relevance to me.
I'm not sure exactly where I stand with regards to the indigenous population who may consider Australia Day a celebration of Invasion.
I do however find it ironic that it was foreign interlopers who provided them with a means of joining up disparate groups into a whole to speak out against foreign interlopers.
Then again it wouldn't be Australia if everybody was all on the same page and looking at the same thing.
