Looking for stats on Linux server market penetration

I'm looking for stats showing the positives of Linux market penetration in the server market.

    I found this:

But that only gives me Apache vs. Msft. That is only part of the story, since people can run Apache on a MSFT server (though I'd be interested to know how many people do).

Not exactly a market statistic, but we as an organization run around 1600 windows servers and around 1200 *nix servers. Of these, *nix servers, the vast majority are now RedHat, but around 400 Solaris boxes persisting in the mix.

Generally, if it's public facing it will be *nix, and internal will be windows.

To my knowledge, we run no Apache on windows boxes at all.

I'll be putting a site on a Linux server within the next few days. My own site is hosted on a Linux server. So, for me, that's Linux: 2, MSFT: 0.

Heh. That's interesting, but I'm looking for more industry wide statistics.

Yeah, I figured that wouldn't be of much use, but Microsoft hate is always worth a mention.
