When the market is enormous and the competition cut-throat, spending extra money may give you the edge you need; but it doesn't necessarily mean that you're successful. It might just mean you have a more expensive failure.
As a budding businessman, I'm learning this. I have some large purchases on my horizon and the idea of laying down a couple grand of my own money is scary and exciting!!
