I agree. The point is that your opinion of someone else's identity is irrelevant because they decide their own identities and would dare to call themselves atheists. In fact, they are atheists. Unless you're saying atheism is about morality, in which case your whole argument is moot.

I don't think atheism is a religion, it's just an idea. But Religion is also an idea. The only difference between the two is that one generally has a set of rules or conditions that state to the general effect of "caring for your fellow man," where as Atheism doesn't. This isn't to say an Atheist can't carry a personal moral code, nor is it to say a religious person will always adhere to the moral code set out to them, this is just what sets them apart. Aside of course, from the fact that most religions allude to there being a god, or some divinity, when atheism ignores this.

But posting signage that states 'your god sucks, doesn't exist, and is totally bogus,' or 'there is a god, there's nothing you can do about it, and you're all subject to his (read my) sense of morality.' In no way is related to morality, people's beliefs, or a communities' cultural health. It's just intended to piss people off.
