Celebutards thinking they should comment on politics.

Celebutards really should just make tv and movies, and leave politics alone. They rarely know what they are talking about, and even worse they make it harder to enjoy their stuff.

Lindsey Lohan, idiotic, vapid, publicity whore that she is, decided she would publicly endorse Obama while at the same time savagely attacking Palin. I suspect Obama and his camp were not terribly excited about this endorsement.

She had some real gems recently on her myspace blog, which I have seen quoted numerous places now:

I find it quite interesting that a woman who now is running to be second in command of the United States, only 4 years ago had aspirations to be a television anchor.
This is like that comment Dalaena made in another post. So what if she wanted to be a television anchor? That's hardly a disgraceful job. Not everyone can abuse drugs and alcohol repeatedly, endanger people's lives on a daily basis while racking up DUIs and car accidents, and still have a job, Lindsay. This is just one of her first gruesomely superior comments.

Also interesting that she got her passport in 2006.
More priceless superiority. Regular people are not jet setting celebrities, you miserable little wretch.

she's FOR drilling for oil in some of our protected land.... Well hey, if she wants to drill for oil, she should DO IT IN HER OWN backyard.
She lives in Alaska. She supported drilling for oil in Alaska. That *IS* her own backyard, idiot.

Oh, and...Hint Hint Pali Pal- Don't pose for anymore tabloid covers, you're not a celebrity, you're running for office to represent our, your, my COUNTRY!
If our society wasn't so stupidly obsessed with celebrities, actually worthwhile people would be on more magainze covers than drug abusing idiots like yourself, Lindsay. I love the superior attitude here once again.

And in the words of Pamela Anderson, "She can suck it"..
    Wow. That's impressive political commentary...

There were a few attempts in the blog post to curry favor with gay rights folks. I wonder how people who truly care about gay rights feel about Lindsay's fake lesbian publicity stunt.
Capitalization is the difference between "I had to help my Uncle Jack off a horse." and "I had to help my uncle jack off a horse."

There is never a good time for lazy writing!

Word of the year 2008 - Celebutard. Love it.

On a serious note, I totally agree with you. How can someone who is hardly a role model herself try and pick someone elses flaws and make a big song and dance about it?

As for her "wedding"... I seriously can't find words to describe my absolute disgust at this publicity stunt. I believe marriage (whether it be gay, straight, transgender, or hand-binding etc) is a serious commitment. You are chosing to be with this person above all others, to make a descision to legally link yourself to another person, to be with this person as long as it works (sorry, no til death do us part here). A wedding is not something to be taken lightly. A wedding is just the big party celebrating your MARRIAGE. Hello? Are you aware of this Ms Lohan? You can't just bundle your girlfriend off when you get bored with her, and bring her out when ratings slip!

Eugh, she's just making a mockery of gay marriage, something I wholeheartedly support. Seriously, go on a bender and go back to rehab, or crash your car, or do ANYTHING else to get some more publicity, just leave marriage alone. Too many people have fought too hard for this to finally happen, don't jump on the bandwagon because you think its the "next big thing". Damnit, I'm really angry now

You say, "So if we have a gay kestrel, does that make him a wood pecker?"

I am now stupider for having gone to look at that blog.

Seriously, though, everything she posts or does kinda looks like a publicity stunt. Her blog wasn't well thought out. She was just shooting off at the mouth like so many people do and posting half-baked, borrowed opinions. She clearly hasn't thought any of this out herself, and it's likely she has no idea why she hates Palin except that it's currently "cool" in Hollywood to do so.

This is like reading a teenager's rant about why her parents suck for not letting her stay out late. It's hardly worth the time it took to read it, and I read pretty darn fast.

I agree. And I'm not even going to bother reading that blog, my brain cells are precious to me. More often than not I've heard 'celebutards' interject some kind of idiotic rhetoric that only amplifies their feeling of self-importance because they got air time. Yey. Now shut up, and make a movie.

I'm trying to think of an example of when a celebrity has actually said something valid during the course of an election... I'm drawing a blank. Maybe I'll fish around a bit.

Sarah Palin successfully ran a state.

Lindsay Lohan can't even successfully run a car.

Besides, Palin's hotter than Lohan anyway. I think that's really why Lohan's mad. Jealousy

    'Celebutards' -ROFL

In trying to find the silver lining- This will give South Park some well deserved ammo. Maybe even John Stewart. I'll look forward to that.

At the same time thanks to her blog, your reading, your criticism, you've given her several minutes of my and your lives. We are the only losers here.

Here's what to do in the future. You read Lindsey Lohan... you run.

    What do you do?

You run. You don't read her spiel. it's probably ghost written by some ex Disney-Club wannabe with a rubber axe to grind.

    'LINDSEY LOHAN'

    Why aren't you running?

Lindsey Lohan is the new 'game'.
    Damn, we all lose again.

I agree with kraxe. Hopefully something horrible will happen to her. Yes, I wish these things.... I also don't believe in karma!

I like "Celebuturds" better. Or, that's how I first read it...

    Just run away!
Don't think about her at all. Just run!

And I don't hope anything bad happens to her. I hope nothing at all happens to her. I hope she continues to get her ghost writer to write Mickey Mouse political statements about polar bears being murdered for oil. I hope she does whatever she does and never steps into my sheltered little world. But what will you all do when you next see that she has written something?

    RUN AWAY.

When you read Lindsey Lohan, YOU KEEP IT TO YOURSELF. That should be a new rule.
