That polls shows percentages of African-American voters. My point was that he brought more African-American's to the polls who otherwise would not have voted. He didn't just win over more of the usual voters, people came out to vote specifically because he was running. Its not a racist thing, its like Ari said, if I were black and had never voted in my life, this would be the one where I did. A lot of voters did swing for Obama, but to argue that it was ALL because he was the better candidate is just downright ignorant and border-line extra-chromosome. American voters are TIRED of the Republican party, and with good reason. They SHOULD be tired of the Democratic party too, but Obama's celebrity overshadowed the 14% approval rating of our already Democrat controlled Congress.
