I really wish someone would explain how it is Fox News gets labeled as witless mouthpieces for the Republican Party. They are without a doubt more conservative friendly than the other news outlets out there. But unlike them, their commentators don't pretend to be unbiased spectators without any agendas. I would also wager that they give a lot more face time to the left than the other networks give to the right. They are the only news alternative there is out there to the very liberal leaning ABC,CBS,NBC,CNN,BBCA,MSNBC et al.... which is what really makes my head scratch in wonder at all the undue criticism they receive. My best guess is most of the vitriol comes from the fact that they generally crush their rival's audience numbers combined.
At least it isn't conservatism funded at the point of a gun the way liberalism is through NPR and PBS.
