    Fired ESPN "personalities"

Have you all heard about this?

Apparently Harold Reynolds, of Baseball Tonight (for 11 years) was fired for repeated incidents of sexual harassment. His came in the form of hitting on women repeatedly.

But the big shocker to me is the firing of Sean Salisbury. He took a picture of his cock on his camera phone, and would go around showing it to people.

I am bummed about the Salisbury firing. He was one of the most entertaining and knowledgeable people they had. So he showed people a picture of his cock. Its a sports network. Lighten up pansies. Find a way to get payback and embarass him.

    Granted, that's fucking stupid Sean.

I wouldn't picture as Salisbury to be this type.

Wow. As it turns out, this may have been nothing but absolute lies spread by ESPN to slander the guy.

I saw this thread and it got me curious about the Sean Salisbury issue. So I decided to look it up and see if any more info was uncovered. Turns out his departure from ESPN was purely a financial thing.

    Salisbury Wanted a Seven-Figure Deal

“I’m a free agent,” Salisbury told the Los Angeles Times from his cell phone (snicker) on Tuesday. “I’ve been liberated. I knew this was coming, but I couldn’t be happier.”

The problem apparently was that Salisbury didn’t get paid as much as more famous former football players.

“I’d grown tired of being punished for not being an NFL superstar,” Salisbury said. “Analysts who don’t work as hard as me, don’t prepare as hard as me, and don’t have my resume were making more than me just because of their ability to throw or catch a football.”
