    Firefox 3 Beta

    Has anyone tested this out yet? What are your thoughts?

    I have just installed it on my windows xp machine and my mac osx 10.5.2 machine. I read through their "known issues" for a beta and really nothing that pertained to me.

    I must say at first glance I am floored with the speed in which websites load - easily running twice as fast as firefox 2 and safari - and well, I could walk to the library and read a book faster than IE so it's not really a comparison there. I also haven't seen that painful memory "leak" in the windows version yet either (no more 1 gb of ram hogging from your web browser!).

    I'm using FF3 Beta 5, and loving it for the most part. I was having issues with FF2 crashing on certain websites, and FF3 has been great! The only issue I have is that not all of my add-ons are working, but that will come with time.

    I used the v3 beta for a while with only one complaint: it crashed whenever I tried to access one of my online courses. Since I upgraded to v3 RC1, this issue is fixed. I like Firefox 3 quite a bit!
