William F. Buckley Jr. dies at 82

Coverage at The National Review (I have a feeling this link will break eventually.)

I always appreciated that he remained a true conservative - someone who believes in limited government. His stances on things such as the legalization of drugs were an excellent example of this.

Whether you agreed with him or not, reading or listening to Buckley always left you feeling noticeably more intelligent and informed. It was only the content, but the skilled use of language as well. No political writer ever sent me reaching for the dictionary as much as he did.

Fare well, Bill Buckley.
