that had a beat I could really dance to; I gave it an 8 out of 10.

I love how the gymnasium where they are filming is only a quarter full. (1:25 mark)
Sure, I got a secret. More 'n one. Don't seem likely I tell 'em to you now, do it? Anyone off Titan colony knows better than to talk to strangers. You're talkin' loud enough for the both of us, though, ain't ya? I've met a dozen like you. Skipped off-home early. Minor graft jobs here and there. Spent some time in the lockdown, but less than you claim. And you're, what, a petty thief with delusions standing? Sad little king of a sad little hill.

I don't understand politics, let alone American politics... but that somehow left me even more confused. It's almost as though she's going to start one of those 4am community TV church shows where everyone is happy about giving a dollar, and everyone can actually sing and dance in time... *shudder*

If I was an American and saw that video, I would so vote McCain. That was one of the omfg videos I have ever seen in my life.

    Is this an official video?

As far as I know yes. I read it was an attempt at creating a "viral video" for Hillary.

Ok Yes I am a Democrat and yes.. I am probably voting for Hilary if she makes it that far (conversative forum goers.. don't bother mocking me)

But you know the "Up with People, Community Theatre" sector of society has a vote too! It is important to tap all sectors of the population!

    Yeah that was pathetic..... ::sighs::

    That video is ... unfortunate.

I've often wondered, though, where does the real venom for Hillary come from? A lot of Americans I know thinks she's absolutely terrible and I'm pretty sure some posters here feel the same way. What is it about her that polarises the nation so much?

I think she's an opportunist who doesn't really believe in anything she proposes. Both Obama and McCain, on the other and gripping hands, really strike me as honest, or at least as honest as a politician can be. Policies don't matter as much when it comes to a president as integrity does, in my opinion, largely because the president has relatively little direct influence over the things they are claiming they can deliver, mostly because Congress, not the White House, controls the purse strings. What the president does do is as much symbolic as practical: he represents the nation. George Bush did a horrible job of this, and is personally responsible for a great deal of the animosity people have for the U.S. right now.

    • She has a total contempt for almost everyone she deems "beneath" her.
    • She takes lying and cheating to a whole new level. Just one example:

She was the benefactor in a sleazy way to bribe politicians that involved investing in futures. Here is how it works:

      1) A bunch of people who want to bribe Bill Clinton (Governor of arkansas at the time) get together and join in a futures investing pool, of which Hillary is also a part.

      2) The broker makes a variety of futures investments (futures investing is almost a total random crapshoot).

      3) When an investment hits, they count it as an investment done with Hillary's money.

      4) When an investment fails, they count it against the other people's money.

      5) The net result was Hillary's futures account had some impossible track record like 65 successful futures investments in a row. The other people in the group had almost complete losses.

      6) Not only is it basically impossible for anyone to be that good/lucky with futures investment, but it was the same broker for all those people. So this broker was a genius for Hillary and a moron for everyone else? Yeah right.
    • When she was asked by Congress to provide suspicious billing records when she was an attorney, she said she couldn't find them. Years later, when the statute of limitations had run, she "found" them in her office.
    • There are countless other incidents. There is also her blatant carpetbagging to become a Senator from New York when she had absolutely no ties to the state.
    • When she was running for Senator, one voting district that was almost completely Hasidic Jew turned out 90% in favor of her at the polls. The problem is, that district had never voted for democrats in the past, and a noteable person from that district had just received a very suspicious pardon from Bill Clinton as he was leaving office.

Note I haven't even gotten to her politics, which have a whole host of their own issues.

That is just the beginning. I am really glad Obama is doing well so we are protected from the potentially ruinous presence of this person in charge of our government.

The sad thing is, TONS of women will vote for her simply because she is a woman. These women are getting a raw deal in their first chance to vote for a woman.

For the last 20 years, either a Clinton or a Bush has been president. We don't need to make that 24 or 28. We barely survived George Bush. We don't need another debacle.
