HD-DVD is officially dead now.
Toshiba announced it will no longer make players, and apparently there are some buy-backs in place to buy stock back from major stores.
There may be some huge deals out there on movies for people who already own HD-DVD players though. I have also read about tons of HD-DVD players going for well under $100 now. That might be worth it for some folks who want a hold over HD-DVD player for a while.
Frankly, I think Blu Ray and HD-DVD are both going to be orphaned technologies. I think we are going to move to hard disc based systems with a lot more on-demand high def content.Capitalization is the difference between "I had to help my Uncle Jack off a horse." and "I had to help my uncle jack off a horse."
