    Michigan OL defects to OSU

    Not sure how I feel about this, I guess I should be happy but for some reason I feel like the one of the uncles for the Hatfields or McCoys and my nephew wants to marry the other family.

    OSU has arguably 3 of the best lineman recruits in the country coming in this fall so will there even be room for this guy?

    I foresee it as a big, annoying distraction that the media will go on and on and on and on and on and on about to an extent way beyond its actual impact.

    Top prep QBs commit to Georgia, Michigan

    "After research on each of the schools, the many visits, the countless conversations, and the never-ending prayers, I have selected the school that from the first time I went there to attend a camp, I knew the school (Georgia) was for me," Murray said.

    "I went back for another visit with my family, then another visit for the spring game."

    The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder from Tampa Plant HS, ranked No. 48 in Rivals' rankings, threw for more than 4,000 yards and 50 touchdowns in 2007. At a news conference at his school, Murray thanked the other colleges that recruited him.
    What I like is that he is a pro-style QB, and generated that kind of offense.

Murray, whose finalists were Georgia, Florida and UCLA, declined to play the "pick the hat" game.     That pick the hat thing is totally overdone, and I hope that trend goes away.

    I just read this fan comment from an OSU fan trying to slam Georgia:

    Being a buckeyes fan living in the south - NAKTIME - that was great!! That would be the most creative thing posted in a non-hateful way without me being able to argue at all!! GREAT POST!

    cdillon36 - would you rather lose to a 4th place big ten team in a non-BCS bowl? We lost both games, you know what we may lose a third and a fourth....but we may also win a couple in there too. Did Florida stop trying after getting beat 62-24 to Nebraska? Did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? NO. So why should we?

    I'd assume the Pearl Harbor quote was an Animal House reference, rather than an actual mistake.

    You should be very careful with such things. Last year Falix tried hating on UGA, and look what happened to Michigan vs. Appalachian State.
