Another old thread to revive...

I think there *is* justification for war in certain situations, however war is not the solution for all problems.

As far as being hit by some planes... damn straight we go to war. They attacked us, so we need to hit them right back 10x as hard so people know and remember to not fuck with the US.

For anyone out there wondering why there is a negative view of the USA around the world, read Kianier's last post. I couldn't possibly have explained it better than to say it's that exact attitude which causes nagative opinions of America and Americans world-wide.

Personally, I love the country and almost all of it's people that I've had the pleasure to meet, but that's simply because I know that there is a lot more to the country than stupid comments like that.

Quite seriously, attitudes like that cause more problems and anti-american sentiments than you guys realize, it's a true true shame to see something like that said, knowing what America is truly like.

Thought it was worth mentioning.

It is stupid to defend oneself?

Yeah, most people hate America whenever we do something to help ourselves rather than our usual efforts of protecting other people or handing out billions of dollars of aid.

God forbid when WE get attacked we take steps to defend ourselves.
