    Officials blamed a wildfire that consumed more than 38,000 acres and destroyed 21 homes last week on a boy playing with matches...

    They guy they shot must've been a black guy.

    I think it was just one of those "Whitey is holding The Man down" things. Here, I'll offer a counterpoint: it couldn't have been a black guy, since the person was shot at a college!

    But seriously, who started the fire? The conflicting reports are making me arch an eyebrow over here.

    Depends on which one. There were a lot of separate fires... so it's not necessarily conflicting, though the two articles do seem to be regarding the San Bernardino vicinity. That said, the guy who was shot was only suspected - he was a suspicious character in a brush area who upon being pursued rammed his car into the cop vehicles. Gee.
