Has anyone heard these names before? You know, I think I recall hearing briefly about some black group abducting a young college couple and slaying them. Well I had no idea how fucked up and heinous the crime actually was, and I certainly don't remember a crime of this caliber being painted on cnn or foxnews.

If this is old news to some then I apologize. I heard it mentioned on my local radio this morning and I had never known about it. Our media is worthless and liberal to the max. They love a white on black crime but completely swerve the other direction when its the other way around.

I'd also like to mention that these black gang-bangers are giving white serial killers a serious run for their fuckin' money. Well, now you folks know that if somebody is holding you at gun point and trying to kidnap you then you better make your last stand. I like the opening statement, "Are facts racism?" It's hard to make any critical judgements on the black community because you're obviously a racist if you do. It's becoming taboo to point out the obvious, which to me is that black culture in America is violent. The reason I draw this conclusion is because these gang-bangers take pride in their image. It is their intended message.

The source you provide is biased. It lacks reputable cites and has a very serious agenda. The crime is clearly horrible but the article completely misrepresents what happened and draws conclusions about society based on interpretations of things that never happened. Wikipedia, for example, has a different take on the case and cites a reference that denies the mutilations.

Zmag (a left wing site) has an article that attempts to answer this. If you do the following search you'll find the relevant section. Though I found the whole article pretty interesting:

Also, I just wanted to add a source to my saying that some of the claims in Savaric's source were false. Knoxnews.com published this list of facts v fictions on may 27:

* Fiction: Christian was held captive four days.
* Fact: Christian was dead within 24 hours of the kidnapping.

* Fiction: Christian's breasts were cut off and Newsom's penis severed.
* Fact: Neither Christian nor Newsom was mutilated, although both suffered tearing injuries from being repeatedly raped.

* Fiction: Christian was dismembered and placed in five separate trash bags.
* Fact: Christian's intact body was wrapped in trash bags and dumped in a large garbage can.

* Fiction: Acid was poured down Christian's throat.
* Fact: A cleaning solution was poured in Christian's mouth in an apparent attempt to wash away DNA evidence.

* Fiction: The slaying suspects allegedly targeted white people.
* Fact: The slaying suspects have told authorities they targeted Christian's Toyota 4Runner.

Please note that this crime was heinous and brutal and involved repeated rape and torture and that if the suspects are found guilty then they should be locked away. I just don't think this crime should be used to make a statement about black society in America, especially when lots of rumours are used to make the crime sound even more terrible than it was.

I heard about the story wednesday morning and I was just appalled I had never heard anything about it. I typed tennessee couple dismembered and clicked the first article I saw. I read it and found news links so I assumed it was true. The gist of it is true.

Yea cleaning solvents are much nicer than acid. You know I bet 9 out of 10 people can't tell the difference between acid and cleaning solvents.

They were after the 4runner huh.

You say that you did a search on 'dismembered'. I might be wrong, but it seems your outrage was understandably based on alleged mutilation and dismemberment of two living people.

I think you should now be outraged that white supremacist groups invented the sexual mutilation and other lies in order to incite racism.
