I had a lot of things I didn't like about the rules but I didn't want to talk about them during the season because there is nothing you can do about it so it is better to wait.

1. Too many teams.

2. Starting lineups are too small. In the other league I'm in we do 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 RB/WR/TE flex, 1 K, 1 DEF/ST. By doing this in a 12 team league anyone who is a starter is on someone's roster as are a lot of backup running back and 3rd WR. I felt like in this league there were almost no decisions to make because it was pretty clear who my best players were and who my backups were.

3. Position Limits/Lack of Injured Reserve. If you can only have 2 RB on the roster and one is hurt and 1 has a bye you have to release one of them. At one point in the season I had to release Andre Johnson at WR because I couldn't IR him and was at my MAX WR.

4. Waiver wire. I don't like the way the waiver wire reset every week. There is more strategy in deciding whether or not to use your good waiver spot on someone or save it for a guy to become a starter. I know it's supposed to help the last place teams and often I was near the bottom and therefore was near the top of the waiver wire but I think it offers less strategy. Also, with such limited rosters the waiver wire was pretty dead.

5. Special teams yardage. I have never been in a league with this. I don't know if I'm totally against it because I used it to my advantage once I realized it was being used but the one thing that the starting lineups did was make the lineups fairly realistic but return men were often more valuable than WR and that was kind of cheesy. I noticed it after Fat Tony's started play Cobbs. I then picked up Nate Burleson who generally was a guarantee to score points since not only was he someone who got a few passes every game, he returned punts and kicks.

I know lots of people will disagree with a lot of what I said but it's just my opinion. I'd play again with the same rules I just think we could make changes to make it more fun.
