You know, I couldn't share the anti-72-Dolphins more. Last season (when the Bears were actually playing the right sport) they were unbeaten going into the Miami game, and many were expressing the possibility for an undefeated season with the defense playing so massively well...


Several of the 72 team attended the game and SO MUCH BULLSHIT hype was spewed about Miami preserving the franchise legacy... God it just made me want to punch Shula in the throat.


I really don't think this is at all comparable to Bonds' asterisk. That is a direct and blatant advantage for an individual stat. Now, had they won a world series, I don't think that it should hypothetically get an asterisk. Individual stat versus team accomplishment is quite different.
