Listen to it if you haven't, its worth it, my coworkers made me listen and I thought he was laying the smack down on his ex and it was entertaining, then I found out it was his daughter and it was sad.

Then Kim B goes and releases the tape (as I understand), showing that she can be just as unhealthy.

This was all over the morning radio today,

I have mixed feelings, I think there is a good chance that he was pushed over the edge by a mother using the child as a weapon to hurt her ex (Baldwin)
Is the 12 year old a spoiled hollywood brat that actually does what ever she wants and her mom lets her? ( its not unheard of)
could the child be selfish and uncaring? the "piggy "part was wrong but Baldwin was obvisiously upset that he had tried at 10 am and 10 pm ( 7 pacific time) the designated time to speak to his daughter and she was not there or had phone off.
But this is a family matter, again the media shows that fame costs something, I think I'd rather be unknown.

The key thing for me was where he said 'you have humiliated me for the last time'. Clearly the child is doing something to hurt Baldwin, and has been doing so for a period of time. The inclusion of 'your mother is a useless bitch who doesn't care what you do' sort of lends credence to the whole 'spoiled hollywood brat' theory.

The news here alluded to basinger breaking a court order by leaking the tape. A statement by Baldwin's lawyer said 'Mr baldwin is doing what the mother of the child is pathalogically incapable of doing. Keeping his mouth shut."

Why would there be a court order against leaking the tape, unless the issue it concerned was already known to the family court?

Sounds to me like a dad going to give his kid an asswhooping for doing something bad. And because it's Alec Baldwin, the whole thing has just been taken all out of context.
