All farce aside, I see so many kids who would be smartened up a shitload with a swift clip around the ear. I was smacked as a child, and let me tell you, you DEFINATELY defer to and respect someone who can kick your arse. (Of course, I had the luxury of having fair and reasonable parents who set sensible boundaries.)
