Typical news report always leaving out important information. Well water has plenty of useful hydrogen, but to get the useful hydrogen you gotta break that molecule up- and that takes energy. Since I don't fabricate information or pretend to know shit I do not, I'll say I'm quite certain it is not a positive return. That's why his car is a gas/hydrogen hybrid.

It says he ran his car 100 miles on 4 ounces of water, but doesn't include how much gas was used. He says it can be modified to run exclusively on water, but is currently set up as a hybrid (I don't know why). There won't be a silver bullet yet, but they're apparently about 50 years out from turning a fusion reactor into reality. Anyway it sounds cool and it is, but our energy fix won't be that simple.

I'll ask my chem teacher about the hho gas. I'm sure it's not new either. Thanks for the science article Xaxer!
