It's a word in common use, it is a slang word. It's not a word I'd use in a report, or a paper, or an essay. It's a word that I use in the same ideal as another person would use any other slang word. As for the dictionary.com link, I was pointing out to you that it -is- a word. Its a slag word, but that doesn't make it wrong, illegal, or whatever other rubbish you're trying to pin on words like that. Unfortunately, a lot of slang comes into our language. Has been coming in since before Shakespeare (who, don't forget, helped it along). If you want to keep it 'pure', how about going back to using latin?
