I'm very suspicious when it comes to the US draft at this point in history, and I'll be the first to say I hope it never happens in my country, although being in my mid-30's, I suppose I wouldn't be their first pick.

I can see the positive side of military service in someone's life, however, and I like that referrence that Kiania made. Can hardly argue with the end results, if in fact her statement is true.
It's coming out in one piece, mentally after serving in conflict, and it's effect on the family that concerns me the most.
