I've also been in Iraq. The slide presentation is a vast oversimplification of the problems there. It doesn't show the ways that the terrorists work to prevent the Sheiks and Iraqi Police from being successful. There are also many other issues that aren't even addressed. These are the sort of presentations we make to share our frustrations with each other, knowing that we don't have it all figured out. If this was really the answer we'd have turned all responsibility for internal security back over the the Iraqis long ago.

There is no easy answer to the problems in Iraq, and there is no quick fix.
