Your argument was flawed in and of itself. Recent events have amply demonstrated it is not permissible to make fun of the Koran, Mohammed, or Islamic religion in general. I don't really see the pull behind your statement.
Fair enough!! However, I still find it interesting that Christianity is ridiculed so much and it's acceptable, but the Holocaust isn't.
Whether you endorse the idea or not, anything and everything is fair game. It's just a question of whether you're willing to deal with the backlash of public opinion.
