Quoting you directly *IS* the basis. Ipso facto, it is not baseless.

And no, it is not obviously a silly joke. The point is, that's right out of the Moveon.org playbook: constantly paint the American South and other Red States as worthless, backward, uncivilized, third-world, hick states.

YOU SAID IT. Its too bad for you that it reveals a lot about your thought processes.

You cannot escape your own words. And you cannot escape the fact that those are the exact same type of anti-South slurs that the extreme left loves to wallow in.

You have so completely drunk the radical left kool-aid that running their plays is second nature to you now.

Let me say it once more, in case it keeps getting overlooked.
I don't hate the south. I don't think it's worthless, backward, uncivilized, the third-world, or a hick states. I don't know much about the south besides orange juice, mardis gras, cajun and creole cooking, and that a team from Florida beat the Calgary Flames a couple years ago, (which is just so wrong in so many ways) and that several presidents are from that region. Oh, and I met two gorgeous girls from Alabama while travelling through Italy.
Oh yeah, and moveon.org.......don't read it.

    Ya got it??

Gitmo- clearly not Kentucky, but maybe Alabama....
And if you read the post I was responding to, it was in response to where the POW's should be kept, Kentucky? It was in NO WAY associating the conditions at Gitmo as being that found in Kentucky.
    Clearly a joke....for most anyway.
I know you believe you understand what you think I said. But I am not sure you realise that what you heard is not what I meant.

Backpedalling now doesn't change your knee jerk slur.

And it also won't change the fact that it is EXACTLY the same kind of crap the radical left, Moveon.org types engage in.

Sorry Kestra. You exposed yourself... again. It is too late to explain it away now. You might as well go help OJ find the "real killers."

Sure we got it, I don't think we're that stupid.

But you know what they say - in every joke there is some truth.

it's pointless to debate with people who only see what they want to see instead of what's really there.
    Thanks for the memories.

If you don't like the label, don't engage in the behavior.

    It is that simple.

And when called on it, at least have the integrity to own up to it and acknowledge your extreme views.

That's the difference between someone like you, and someone like (for example) Malacasta. She doesn't pretend to be a capitalist with a "social conscience." She admits to believing in communism. I disagree with her views, but I can respect her integrity in owning up to her opinions.

That's a major reason why even though her views are possibly more extreme than yours, people take her seriously.

    Something to think about...
