    Do they even make this?

Okay, need a little help, here. I've got a new shitty thing I have to do for work, which requires spending about two to three hours in the back of our warehouse-like building. I'd love to make things easier by listening to my favorite talk show, but it's not on at that time. Luckily I'm an "insider" subscriber type of person, so I can listen through the Web any time I like.

HOWEVER ... I need some way to get the audio from my computer to the back. I have been unable to locate an audio extension cord, which would work perfectly. I need like 50 feet, seriously. I'm not sure if anyone even MAKES them that long.

Thoughts? I don't want to spend a lot of money on things like wireless speakers.

If you have an ipod or other mp3 player you might be able to download a podcast of your favorite show.

20 meter isn't too much, but you'd have to go to the right place to find it. Check out what sort of connector you need (it'll probably be 3.5mm or RCA - http://images.google.com.au/images?q=3.5mm or http://images.google.com.au/images?q=RCA for what they look like), go to Dick Smiths or any place where they sell high-end speakers, and ask at the service desk.

Before you buy cable, though, figure out how much you actually need. If you're going to run it across the ceiling, you need to allow a couple of meters (a few feet, if you talk feet) for going up and down. Knowing your exact requirements will be handy if you're told "We don't have any pre-cut that length, but we can cut you one and put connectors on it".

They make wireless headphones that work within the rage you're talking about. You'd want to go with RF. They are a bit pricey, but I'd consider them worth if if you're going to get a lot of use out of them. No cord to worry about!

Sennheiser has a good reputation, so if I were to buy a set I'd probably go with the Sennheiser HDR-85 Wireless Headphone System (just do a search on froogle for that product name and you'll find them). If you're wanting to go the economy route I'd try the RS 110 Open Supra-Aural Wireless RF Headphone System (again froogle search it) looks like it will do the trick for a third of the cost. I've never head anything about the company though, so I wouldn't trust them as much as Sennheiser.
