Haha. Too bad Enosekel was quoting me. That's not Enosekel's posting. That's my statement. Here's the full statement:

I disagree with the fact that terrorists should be lumped in with all Muslims and Arabs, and I believe this kind of assumption is VERY dangerous. We have to strive not to make these kinds of assumptions. Scholars of Islam and several leaders of Islam (especially in America) do not preach violence or any kind of terroristic attacks. Islam and violence do not go hand in hand. There are, however, some countries and some regimes that DO advocate violence and fund it. That's what we should be trying to shut down, not an entire group of people based on their culture or their religion. That's what Hitler tried to do. (Okay, I pulled the Hitler card! I didn't call anyone Hitler, though, so points for me, right?)

Since we're OT here I thought I'd add this note about Muslim culture.

I keep hearing idiots on the news talking about how Muslims don't kill other Muslims. WTF!! Muslims kill other Muslims all the fucking time! There are even Muslim terrorist groups that are more interested in killing other Muslims than they are in killing Americans (there are different types of Muslims, some of which hate each other). I don't know why the media is feeding this BS of Muslims not killing each other. Again, WTF! Iran and Iraq have had it out a few times, and there was the Iraq invasion of Kuwait, and a few other examples. Muslims kill Muslims all the time!! The point they are trying to make is that non-Arab Muslims might be the best option for a peace keeping force between Israel and Lebanon. Why can't they make this point without spewing nonsense about Muslims not killing Muslims?!?![/rant]

That's impossible since most people can't even distinguish between Arab-Muslims and Non-Arab Muslims. As an example. Iran is not an Arab country, most people from Iran take offense at being called Arab. They are Persian both ethnically and culturally.
