Kenneth Lay cheats one last time

    What a rip off: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,202143,00.html

I have to admit, I thought it was highly suspicious. Maybe it's a big hoax and he's really out in Switzerland somewhere with his money.

At least we still have his buddy Skilling. They went down together and I'm sure they were both a pillar of support for one another. Skilling probably feels pretty alone now, poor guy.

Oh, these two guys aren't in jail yet. They're awaiting sentencing until October so they're still living like queens. Well, not Lay, he's just plain dead.

Lay is the type of guy that refuses to lose. By having a "heartattack" and crashing his plane he got to end things on his terms. At least he won't cost us taxpayer dollars by sitting in jail.

    Another "devout" christian:

    http://money.cnn.com/2006/07/12/news...ex.htm?cnn=yes

Christianity sure does seem to be prevalent among America's financial elite. Hey, whatever makes you feel good about yourself.

"Lay was a longtime friend of the Bushes, contributing to their political campaigns and was nicknamed "Kenny Boy" by President George W. Bush."

"He was a good person who did a bad thing. Justice was served by finding him guilty," said Marie Watkins, a former tax analyst who worked with Lay at Enron and Florida Gas for 27 years. She said she lost 90 percent of her retirement portfolio when the company imploded.

No, he was just found guilty you stupid bitch. This christian mercy bullshit is a fuckin' flaw in our justice system.

"The Reverend Dr. Bill Lawson compared Lay with civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. and Jesus Christ, and said his name would eventually be cleared." "He was taken out of the world right at the right time," he said. "History has a way of vindicating people who have been wronged."

    More Christian dogma.

"He did have a strong faith in God and I know he's in heaven, and I'm glad he's not in a position anymore to be whipped by his enemy," Herrold said.

Yea, how dare those share holders be upset about losing their stock to corruption. Greed is a sin you fuckin' wanker.

A bumper sticker sums this up rather well:

"You're not a Christian for sitting in church any more than you're a car for sitting in a garage."
If violence is not your last resort, you have failed to resort to enough of it.
