    Murdering Bastard goes free

    Bashir released from Jail

2 years for conspiring in the murder of over 200 people, and countless incitements to violence.

Meanwhile Shapelle Corby rots in jail for marijuana there is quantifiable, if circumstancial, evidence she knew nothing about.

    Go fucking figure.

And it's not even a sick joke. Unbelievable.

Guess who's not likely to get $1 billion from us the next time a tsunami hits. Boggle.

Two wrongs have never made a right. Although this would be three wrongs so I guess it's just plain left.

killing him wouldnt make it right.
I do not think there is a right.
Nor does killing anyone ever solves anything,
but if the choices are letting one who is responsible for the death of hundreds go, or killing him...

I do not know what your third wrong is though

    1. Him killing the 200
    2. Government setting him free or killing him
    3. Other countries denying humanitarian aid so that more innocent people die.

I don't think they'd stop sending aid though.
I am certain even Belair will chip in a million or two

Sending the amount of aid we did last time had huge political significance. To think it was just an, "Oh, there's a distaster, here's your standard relief package" is plain ignorant. Australians are always going to send aid to any country. It's the amount which is questionable.

No politician is going to seem quite the hero for lending them such a helping hand next time -- which, above all, is the tragedy. Since then, Australian sensitivies have been largely ignored. They even have the gall to get shitty with us when we take in some of their refugees.

80 Australians were murdered with Bashir's blessings and guidance. He gets two years. If that doesn't outrage anyone, including the Australian public, I don't know what would.
